The Holiday Club: False/Misleading advertising and poor customer service

Holiday Club: False advertising. A reservation was made via the holiday club at Manyane Resort in the North West. The advertised resort and accommodation on the website was beautiful and prisitine. As i was in the North West i decided to view the booking prior to the actual holiday. Unfortunately upon visiting Manyane Resort the buildings and facilities are in a dilapidated state. Lawns unkempt, pool is green amd the buildings in dire need of maintenance. The Holiday Club refuses to reimburse or reallocate my points despite them being aware the place was in shambles. Upon querying with the holiday club, i was informed that it was government owned and the place has since deteriorated since October 2023 following a fire. It is the responsibility and duty of the Holiday Club to vet their accommodation and provide most recent pictures of their venues especially since they were aware of fire damage since October 2023, yet they are advertising the resort with pictures prior to the fire damage. I spoke to a Mandy who told me I must lose my points and write a letter to management. What happens to my points taken by the holiday club for a place that is not habitable. Since i have booked in advance and the Holiday only due at the end of February I requested the Holiday Club give my points back or reallocate to another resort and I was told i will just have to lose my points. The holiday clubs responsibility to their patrons should be to validate/verify the accommodation that they advertise.
