The Holiday Club

The accounts department is extremely aggressive in collection and does not even attempt to contact you to discuss the issue. They go straight to attorneys.

A phone call or email was never received to ask/discuss the issue.
All the emails up to now was the standard email showing the combined statement only. The fact that I started to pay before the attorney contacted me was never incorporated in the communication. The legal aspect around willing to pay is quite specific and this fear creating approach is bullying tactics. An e-mail from the attorneys to reply on my email would have been positive.
My reply to Pricilla unfortunately didn't went through and I send it again now.

Dear Danie

Thank you for your comments.

We do apologise for the delay in response as well as any miscommunication regarding the usage of your Points, whilst we were attending to your query.

Regarding your above question, The Holiday Club is indeed a proud member of VOASA.

We can confirm that a Consultant has been in contact with you to explain the booking process, and was also able to source inventory for you as per your desired dates. Regrettably, you have declined these offers.

While we would have loved to assist you more amicably, we wish you a great day further and look forward to providing you with more wonderful holidays in the future.

Kind Regards
The Holiday Club

Dear Holiday club,
You are playing with words. The booking offer was to far from my required need, and was pointed out to your consultant. That is the only reason for not taking the option. Please admit that in your answer, and do not say: Regrettably I declined the option. I want a withdrawal of this statement from your side.
The next thing is that over the weekend it was still possible to book a nearer place, but your system is cumbersome and unusable without explanation as your consultant did explain this morning.
My complaint still stands that the booking system should not has a different route to follow when more than enough points from the previous year are available, and fully paid. This different route due to circumstances this year is not acceptable and had been reported to VOASA.
I want your system to automatically work as normal as long as enough paid points are available. No one taught me before that an "EFT option and the rest" as explained is the way to handle the issue. Even this alternative option is not acceptable when enough paid points are available.
If VOASA cannot force you to change your system, I will approach the consumer board.
