The Holiday Club

I am a member of the Holiday Club and as 15 of my points were on the verge of expiring I was bombarded with emails and sms's to remind me to make reservations as not to forfeit my valuable points. I responded and tried to make reservations in different provinces. We live in a semi rural area (Cradock in the Eastern Cape). Unfortunately the nearest resort that we can access is nearly 300 kms away. When you have vacation or holiday points at these clubs you have to search around to strech them and get the best value out of them. I tried different options but to no avail. A few days before expiry I requested a few bookings by email. My email was quickly attended to and I received a telephone call from a very friendly and helpful agent. This agent went out of his way to search for reasonable holiday packages that would my family. Normally with these points I would at best (at the resorts the agent booked) only have been able to enjoy one or two holidays at most!! The agent went all the way into May 2025 to make sure that I received 3 bookings for my points. It was just unbelievable. Holidays at these resorts are very expensive and to have an extra holiday, which usually cost many thousands of rands was really a dream come true. I wish the Holiday Club and it's employees all the best. I hope that other club members have or will receive the same wonderful service that I received.
