STAY AWAY FROM THE HOLIDAY CLUB! They lock you in for life!
This company forces you to stay with them and not cancel! I have recently experienced financial distress and as a result needed to cancel my membership, after joining in November 2017 (I haven’t even made use of any points). They presented a cancellation fee of 13k?! If I’m struggling financially, where will I get 13k to basically donate to these money leaches?! Their contract is watertight, they lock you in FOR LIFE! EVERYONE, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! You will surely regret it

We wish to confirm that The Holiday Club does not prevent members from canceling their membership.
As the signator of an Agreement, you had a cooling-off period in which to cancel same. As the cancellation request received from yourself was outside of the cooling-off period allowed, the cancellation will be subject to the payment of a cancellation fee as stipulated by the Consumer Protection Act.
We note that you have indicated that the reason why you want to cancel is due to financial reasons. At the time of joining, a credit assessment was done and same indicated that you were able to afford the financial obligations in terms of the Agreement which you signed.
Our Collections department have advised you that they can assist you with payment arrangements. We note, however, that you have indicated that you will still not be able to pay the cancellation fee, due to a recent change in financial status. We, therefore, require supporting documents in order to submit same to management for further consideration.
Kindly provide the requested documents, as discussed telephonically with our Collections department yesterday, in order for us to assist you further.
