No value for money anymore

<p>Two years ago we wanted to book a holiday which would have cost us over R15,000 if we used our Holiday Club points for a week during school holidays. We ended up booking the exact same holiday resort elsewhere for R5,300.</p> <p>We used to often go away for weekends by utilising the 'bonus breaks' which discounted the holiday/ weekend by up to 60% depending on how close to the date you booked.</p> <p>These days you get a measily 10% discount as 'bonus breaks'.</p> <p>Our monthly levy also increased by a whopping 70% from last year which means I'm paying over R11,000 to MAYBE get a weekend away at a not-so-nice resort. Yes, we only have 16 points, it has served us well so far but we actually cannot use it anymore due to the massive increase in levy & the change in bonus breaks.</p> <p>Not only has the levies increased, but the points allocated to the weeks have also increased!</p> <p>Really, Holiday Club, I can take my yearly levy and take my family on a decent holiday, not just for a weekend away.</p>
