Spammers, unsubscribe functionality is a gimmick

I have unsubscribed several times from the The Hindu, and I am still being spammed by them on a daily basis. Initially I thought did I unsubscribe, but I have now twice gone back to their website, and clicked on unsubscribe, and it tells me I am being removed, to no avail.
