Taking advantage of people in really bad states

I've been suffering with Cluster Headaches since my teenage years. Lately I've been getting the headaches daily, sometimes multiple times.I've been at countless GPs and Specialists with hardly any improvement.I've done some research and found the Headache Clinic run by Dr. Shevel who offered \miracle"options. I was sceptical since his practise is not endorsed by any medical aid and he had multiple audit findings through Discovery Health.I raised my concerns to the very helpful staff who gave me piece of mind that it is not **********.I ended up paying the hefty R6300 fee which is not covered by medical aid. At first it seemed like they would be able to help as they did comprehensive tests and consultations (I've been through similar tests and consultations over years)"
