It's all about the money!

My wife has been suffering from chronic headaches for well over 6 years now. We have tried almost everything. She convinced me to try the Headache clinic, as I was very sceptical, as it is not recognized by ANY medical aid in SA. Got to see Dr Shevel only after paying his fee. We had all my wife's paperwork with us, including MRI's and X-rays etc., these were hardly looked at. Dr Shevel did a quick exam, pressed on my wife's head a couple of times and then proceeded to explain that most chronic headaches are caused by arterial problems in the scalp. A complete assessment was recommended, to determine the best course of action.<br> <br> Second lot of money - this is now at R6300. Off we go to get all the tests and assessments done. We saw about 5 people, all of who did very basic tests. Not one looked at the MRI or X-ray scans (in fact a second set was taken at the clinic, even after we said that these had already been done). We had to come back the second day as the neurologist was not in. OK, so after many hours and money, we get told it is a tension headache - a PMA was recommended (more money).<br> <br> End result, it made her feel worse even after 2 adjustments. No follow ups from their side!
