Avoid this Salon ***
The Hair Movement. Watercrest mall. KZN
definately would see me again.. went in about 2 weeks ago for low lights. Wanted darker low lights, but hairdresser said I would like a zebra. Walked out with we light ****** ish streaks. Thus cost Mr 850.00. Very disarriafied I phoned the salon the next morning.. hairdresser said I could come in for a correction. Unfortunately I was not Ble to go in and i had to reschedule... I the n eceived a call from someone from the salon who informed me that the special price of R850.00. The more I tried to tell her it was a correction the more she emphasized the special was over. After losing my cool. She made the appointment for this morning at 9h00 am. I arrived there at 8h45.. the door was open so I went in. The hairdresser informed me that my appointment was only for 9h00 and told me I could wait outside. I am sure she saw my blood was boiling and invited me to sit down and offered me a cup of tea. Which I accepted, however she then proceeded to tell me I had chosen thd colour and she had suggested darker. This was such a lie.. I pi ked up my bag and walked away. R850.00 for an absolutely bad experience...
Thank you for your feedback , we are disappointed that you feel this way.
You had visited us on 08/08 to benefit from our Women's Month Special , as with all our clients a consult had been performed taking into regard what you want and what is achievable with your hair type . After being guided through our available colour chart you had chosen a light natural colour for your low lights - your stylist did advise you at that point that because it was a colour very close to your natural and current colour , it would not be a visible change .
You had then called in on 09/08 @ 8:48am to inform us that you were not happy with the results and we had been more than happy to redo your lowlights to your satisfaction and confirmed this was at no additional cost to you , your appointment was then confirmed for 12/08 @ 8:45am . You had then called back at 12:36pm to push you appointment back a week later to the 19th , which we had still been happy to accommodate .
You had then rescheduled AGAIN, online on the 18/08 @ 9:22am to push your appointment further to 22/08 @ 9am . On 20/08 you had then been contacted by the Manager to confirm that the special was no longer available as of 19/08 but we would still correct the service performed on 08/08 at no additional cost .
Upon arrival of your appointment on 20/08 , your stylist had seated you in preparation of your correction , you had then requested to have a full colour done instead of the highlights . You had then been informed that a different service would not be covered by the agreed upon low light correction and that she would need to request if this is acceptable this from the Salon Manager . After waiting less than 5 minutes you had then informed the stylist that you would be leaving .
We have tried our utmost best to accommodate you and keep you satisfied but to no avail.
Kind Regards

I said to the hairdresser I wanted lis lights she showed me the chart and suggested a colour. I SAID TO THE HAIRDRESSER I trust her judgement.. Mistake. When it was blow dried. There was no difference and her response was... you can't go much darker as the result would be like a Zebra. As far as the call was from someone? Apparently salon manager. The emphasis was social was over I said it was a correction and she kept insisting special was over? I went to the salon yesterday was 15 mins early but thd door was open. Hairdresser came up to me and said that my appointment was for 9...I could wait outside. She then saw the look on my face and said I could choose where I wanted to sit. And offered me a cup of tea. I told her I was very peaved (****ed) off and she said I had chosen the cokour no mention of the zebra affect. In all honesty why would I choose lowl lites to achieve blotches of ******s tones. I am not going to go back and forth with this as someone should take responsibility and man up. So if my money is not refunded to me. I will
Take it up with the consumer council
My lawyer.
In addition. I am willing to get and affidavit to what transpired.
