I have never been so mistreated in a Restaurant before

I walked in to the Grillhouse in Melrose Arch yesterday, the waiter told me they were closed and could not serve me. I was ok with that and moved to another entrance of the same restaurant to try my luck. Because sometimes you do get someone who decided to squeeze you in quickly. This time i come across a waiter who is so rude, in front of other client he says to me "i look like i belong in a party not a restaurant" then proceeds to laugh at me. He is basically saying to me that maybe this restaurant is too good for me - since when do waiters talk to clients like that, just because there is no potential tip to be had from me. A black waiter saying this to me as a black female - I belong in a club, when i try to ask for a table at their restaurant?

Is this what you train your waiters to behave like? is this how people should be treated, a simple "we are closed" would have sufficed like with the other guy.
