Staff is lying about specials

I visited the WestRand store on Friday. Michael told me the Srixon soft feel ***** were on special whereby you buy two boxes and get the third for free. So that would mean at R20 a ball it should have costed me R480 for 34 ball since the other 12 is free. Why was I then charged R720? What was free about the 3rd box?????
