Dishonest and do not care about the customer

I was impressed with the quote offered me for a gold bangle. I was also interested in getting a quote for a collector's coin which had been given to me by a relative, but Colin said he was not able to quote on this without seeing the coin. I thus sent both items together on the understanding he would quote me for the coin. Instead, I received payment for the gold bangle with an unexpected R50 added on. When I queried this, Colin told me this was the payment for the coin. No quote, no consent given. I asked him to please return the coin as I would rather keep it than sell it for R50. He told me he'd arrange to have it delivered. I followed up a couple weeks later and was told 'the couriers forgot to collect it' and that he would follow up again. It has been over 3 months now with no word. Obviously he doesn't give a rat's *ss and was just fobbing me off. I am a tired out mom of little kids and don't have the energy or time to chase some idiot over a coin which may not be worth more than a few hundred bucks. All I can say is, beware of this unprofessional man and his business!
