Rand Stadium Toyota the Glen does not live up to their values

After I had a breakdown with my Car - Toyota Prado 2015: Transmission- Gearbox failure whilst on a trip to Eastern Cape. I made an arrangement to have my car delivered to Rand Stadium Toyota the Glen, where I have serviced my car over the last seven years. The car got delivered on Tuesday 1 March 2022 and I got feedback, telephonically on Friday 4th March 2022 from Toyota - Rand Stadium the Glen, that my car's gearbox needs to be totally rebuilt and would cost me R102,000.00. What surprised me was there was no alternative given and or details given as to how this happened i.e. route course. I phone another Toyota branch - Parts to just check how much a new gearbox would cost and so they offered me approx. R115,461.94, which was later even further reduced. And so I decided based on the information at hand to purchase the new Gearbox as firstly the price difference between a rebuild and new are not that much and I felt that I would get all the necessary warrantee and guarantee that come with buying a new part. But what I found inhumane was when I went to go and see the appointed specialist where they (Rand Stadium Toyota) sent my car for gearbox rebuild quotation, they told me that they only quoted R71,000.00 to repair my gearbox. Meaning that Toyota would get a mark-up of approx. 44%. Now I have no problem with a reasonable markup, but this clearly showed me that Toyota did not care at all about the situation that I found myself in, nor did they present me with any feasible/alternative solutions to lessen my expenses and inconvenience. Based on the initial feedback I had no option but to order the new gearbox as I needed my car fixed, but I would have thought being a loyal customer and the situation that I found myself in, they could have advised me to use their recommended supplier directly as my car in any case is out of maintenance plan (Kilos' 240,000)etc. This would have saved me R50,000. I will never again take anything at face value from Toyota nor will I ever return to Rand Stadium Toyota the Glen for any services nor advice.
