Individual Traders inside the Glen (In front of Game)

Monday 14th September 2020. Today I went to the Glen Shopping mall and entered at the Dischem/Vodacom entrance. There was a group of people inside the mall (in front of Game ) selling something in a “can”. As I was with my small daughter and in a hurry, I politely declined their first offer however, they profusely tried to sell me this “can” to which I ignored them and carried on walking. When exiting the mall they once again tried to sell me this “can” which I again politely declined and then this man again profusely began to invade my personal space (no social distancing and mask not covering his face) my priority was to keep him away from my daughter (being cognizant of the latest viral video clip on news and social media of an attempted kidnapping of a small child) which he again profusely tried to make his way to. By then I had enough, swore at him, and told him off as he is hot respecting social distancing and my personal space. What process do these people follow and what vetting takes place on them to gain access to sell their products inside the mall? Does the Glen provide them with a code of conduct and etiquette that they must follow with customers as the PR is for the Glen and not their personal brand that they are selling. During a Covid time, their ignorance is pathetic and I am disgusted that the Glen itself would permit people with no common sense and etiquette to trade within their mall…
