Dishonest and negligent
<p>I purchased a vehicle from the glen car mart and the salesman zakir hussain advised that the vehicle was in a slight bumper bashing and that all is perfect on the vehicle.</p> <p> </p> <p>while driving one day, i hit a pothole and the airbag warning light o the dash came on.</p> <p>i took the vehicle to the KIA dealership to have it checked out and they advised that the vehicle had been in a major accident and that there was very bad welding done on the subframe of the vehicle which was bad work and could crack. they advised that they also think the airbags would not deploy in case of an accident and that the vehicle was unsafe to drive. The costs to repair would be over R80,000.</p> <p> </p> <p>i contacted the dealership to get them to either:</p> <p>1. pay for the repairs</p> <p>2. settle the finance on the deal and take the vehicle back.</p> <p> </p> <p>zakir said they would not pay a cent for repairs and would not take the vehicle back, but did sayi could take it to their mechanics for repair, BUT AT MY COST.</p> <p> </p> <p>since then i have contacted the AA to get the roadworthy certificate on the vehicle, they advised that the vehicle failed the first test, and then passed a few days later. they canot give me the records without the consent from the glen car mart, and when i requested this, GUESS WHAT? THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO GIVE CONSENT AS THEY KNOW THAT THEY ARE ***** DEALERS.</p> <p> </p> <p>they now do not respond to my emails and will not assist with anything.</p> <p> </p> <p>THE FACT THAT THESE GUYS ARE SELLING VEHICLES WHICH ARE DANGEROUS TO DRIVE, NOT ONLY OUT THE LIVES OF THE PERSON PURCHASING THE VEHICLE, BUT EVERY ROAD USER NEAR THAM. AND THEY DO THIS WITH A SMILE ON THIER FACE.</p> <p> </p> <p>SO STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS AS TEYARE LIERS AND ********S, AND WE ARE TAKING THIS TO CARTE BANCHE TO TAKE THIS FURTHER.</p>
