Hello Peter / Jerry Springer feat. Mohammed at The Gift Shoppe - Brakpan

Off the bat, the person responsible for this is Mohammed from the Gift Shoppe. Unfortunately, I received no title or who or what he is after he refused to provide me with information and proceeded to scream at me in front of the rest of the clientele, clearly not tired after his rant at my husband. Why? I bought a R400 ring for the second time there that lost stones the same day of purchase and my husband asked for a refund or replacement on the most recent gift failure they provided us with. When Mohammed said a lovely flat “NO” my husband told him that we would then ensure that at least some people know that they will buy poor quality jewellery there and not receive a refund without a swarm of insults on “customers like us”. We were told that they have been running successfully for 32 years and that “Hello Peter/Hello Paul/ Hello John won’t help us” and obviously neither would he so we can shop elsewhere. A lovely co-worker offered to replace the item and due to Mohammed still insulting me at the entrance and insisting we buy elsewhere if we aren't satisfied when I tried to explain that we didn’t return the first ring as we didn’t assume that it was their lack of quality that resulted in 3 stones coming out and of course it was an anniversary present that I considered sentimental, I decided that risking embarrassment all over again wasn’t worth it and that they could keep their gifts. Of course, we decided that we would rather go to a proper jeweller where we can receive decent service at the same price (maybe even with a dash of politeness) and the ring will be beautiful for longer than an hour or two than take a replacement and so the lovely lady refunded us. We have literally spent thousands there without any problems and as soon as we returned an item which was clearly undamaged and hardly worn (ONE DAY) by myself, we are attacked and insulted and basically told to leave and shop elsewhere. Another client, of course amused by all of this also then decided to light the firework he just bought at the Gift Shoppe, right outside of it too. Our advice, skip this CHARMING place, go to the mall, and buy yourself a DECENT ring at a DECENT price from DECENT sales people and assistants.
