********** - Not using again ever

I have used The Geyser Connection abour 4 - 5 times and never had a problem with them being a rip-off. This changed last week - called them in to look at dripping taps in a bathroom and a wobbly mixer in kitchen. Turned up on Thursday - spent over two hours trying to fix taps which I had already said if couldn't be fixed - replace. Came home and tap heads came off in my hands and hadn't looked at Mixer. Phoned Gavin, he undertook to send them back next day - spent another two hours - replaced taps with cheap taps in bathroom, fixed tap heads messed up in bath and replaced Mixer - charged me nearly R6 000 - their labour rate used to R500/hr last year - and I know the fittings were cheap - huge ******* - have paid and let them know not happy - will not use again as big ******* artist - pity, because they were always quite reasonable.
