We held a baby shower on 11 February. The setup and decor were lovely. The admin department was however not very flexible, and would not let us reduce the number of guests, we were charged the full amount and were forced to add in extras so the invoice amount would not change. The food was underwhelming for the amount that we paid, it was a very basic braai. The staff also refused for us to have takeaways, so all the leftovers were either thrown away or given to staff. The bar was also not satisfactory, they didn't have sparkling water and just ignored us when we asked for jugs of tap water with ice. I would not recommend the venue for intimate events, perhaps it would work better for weddings or larger events.
