Garden Venue - 50th Birthday
I had my 50th birthday at the Garden Venue on Sunday, 14 April 2024 in the Zanzibar Room.
I had my initial visit with Stella, the Salesperson, who took us through all the packages available and provided me with a quote for my event. I paid the deposit within a specified time, and they gave me a sizeable voucher, which I used to cover my bar tab at my 50th.
Nonsi was my allocated in-house party planner. Thank you to Nonsi and her team for pulling together what I had envisioned, from the flowers, the food, the decor, the music and the 360 video camera team, my 50th was a memorable and fun event. I was able to set up the other items that the venue does not provide, ie. balloons and stationery. A special shout out and thank you to Eddy who done my 360 videos. This was indeed the highlight of the night for all of my guests. Eddy created a watermark for my 360 videos together with the song I requested. I was in contact with the entire team via a WhatsApp group and was able to communicate directly what I wanted.
As with all contracts, I suggest you make sure to read the Terms and Conditions first and ask to see the bar menu as well, before signing any agreements. Also find out what is and isn’t allowed in terms of the food and beverages.
All in all, I was very happy with the Garden Venue and my party planning team (and especially Nonsi) which is a one-stop shop with all that you would need for a beautiful event or party, from your in-house party planner to the DJ, decor, flowers and food.
The Zanzibar Room is particularly beautiful with its ornate Zanzibar door entrance, the koi pond and inside/outside options. The Garden Venue has 12 spaces of various sizes of which to choose, depending on the number of guests. The Zanzibar Room comfortably accommodated my 43 guests, with space to dance and mingle in the garden.
An elegant buffet dinner and dessert was enjoyed by all and my special request to have Halaal meat (from Khans Butchery) was honoured.
