RIDICULOUS EXPERIENCE

On Saturday, My husband and I joined my brother and his Wife, for a game of Ten Pin Bowling. We all wore closed shoes. First we went to the counter at the bowling alley and was told to pay around the corner, so we went to pay for a game, my husband and I paid for ourselves (R120.00) and put it on my sister in laws card. we then made our way back to the counter at the bowling alley and the lady wanted to see what shoes we were wearing, my shoes were the only ones she deemed appropriate for the bowling alley (my brother was wearing the exact same shoes, only difference was that his had shoelaces and mine not) we then went back to the counter to request a refund because not one of us were comfortable with playing the game barefoot - considering all the germs. We were told no refund, the money will stay on the card for us to use.

This is highly unacceptable! There are no boards to say that your money is non-refundable, or that you must wear specific types of shoes.

When we requested a refund we were given an attitude...

I want my refund of R120.00 !
