*******ion at The Four Seasons apartments (Midtown Rentals)

So i recently booked a 2 night stay at The Four Seasons in July , i deposited 50% of the total payment and with that i requested an apartment with a balcony as all rooms are non smoking (an im a smoker). Receptionist (called Charity) called me back and confirmed emphatically that the room has a balcony and i shouldnt worry , a few weeks later i called again to confirm and make final payment and then she (Charity) told me that no the apartment doesnt have a balcony. I then proceeded to cancel my stay and then "as per policy" the property owner told me in no uncertain terms that my 50% deposit will not be refunded AS ALL CORRESPONDENCE BETWEEN PROPERTY AND CLIENT IS DONE VIA EMAIL and my telephonic conversation with Charity doesnt carry any weight. This is totally unacceptable , and as the client ive been given FALSE information.
