Sub-standard customer service and shoddy workmanship

Within two weeks of having laminated flooring installed in our apartment, the covered of the transition piece connecting the flooring to the adjacent tiled area started de-laminating. This was reported to The Flooring Company and, after a delay of approximately two weeks, new laminate was fitted last week. However, rather than removing the strip and re-installing the laminate effectively, it appears that the work was done in situ, leaving a ragged edge which is clearly visible at the floor/tile joint. When I made it clear that I was dissatisfied with the quality of the repair, I was informed that there is nothing wrong with the laminated cover and that any further work would be charged as a call-out. Given the lack of urgency in addressing the initial complaint and the aggressive manner in which my request for the poor workmanship to be addressed was treated, I will never make use of this company's services again and nor will I recommend their services to anyone.
