Shopping is a really daunting thing when you’re a plus size woman (38+)If the clothes aren’t all too small. The bigger sizes have the ugliest colors or designs. You’re never truly satisfied. The amount of anxiety I’d get just buying jeans would send me into an emotional mess for days on end. Until my last experience @TheFix Claremont. I spent 10/15min loitering around not knowing what I wanted and trying not to go for the typical body-con look like I always opt for because it’s “safer” to do. I was on my way to a special social event and I just wanted to look really good. The shop assistant Nadine changed my life to honest. She asked me what my sizes and then said “relax I’ll be right back” . She came back with arms full of EVERYTHING. From the shoe to the accessories to the entire round up of options. Things I’d “over looked” because I wasn’t too sure they’d look good on me. She sat with me throughout the changing of tops to swapping shoes. She was at my beck and call until we found THE ONE. I felt like a million dollar cheque. Everything fit like a glove. I wanted to take everything with me home. She made see myself in a way I hadn’t seen in years. I have been looking in the mirror different since then. The entire staff in the store ended making it a team effort to get me that drip. I am still in awe. I thank TFG and The Fix for their staff at the Clarmeonty brunch BUT A BIG thank you to Nadine from The Fix Claremont in Cape Town on the Main Road opposite KFC. You’re amazing at your job. And a small side note The Store is so CLEAN and the display so well coordinated. Everything about the shoe rack to the bags and the clothes. The whole place is aesthetically pleasing and Instagram ready. Other stores should take a leaf out of their books about the display. I’ve never been to a The Fix store all over Cape Town where the shoes were all neatly placed. Where the floor was so clean you could eat of it. I can’t even think of shopping anywhere else now after my experience with the Claremont store. Thank you #TFG #TheFix #TheFixClaremont
