Terrible customer service

Last week i went to The fix in Loch logan waterfront to return an item i had bought a few weeks back at their store. unfortunately i had lost the slip but the item was in its original packaging and never been worn.I was in a rush and asked the manager if she could please do a gift card for me because i didn't have enough time to look around she told me that she doesn't do gift cards in her store i have to pick an item right there and then or id have to return the item to the store i bought it from her and her employee who had a brown bob and was behind the till were actually talking at me and the employee actually talking at me and the employee actually laughed when i said i would call their head office. Iam so upset because why should i be stuck with an item for R299 that i will never wear my consumer rights are actually being disregarded at this point the customer service was so terrible will never go shop there again.
