Lunch hour madness

<p>So I went to The Fix(former Fashion Express TFG group) in Zeerust CBD on friday 17 march 2017 to do some shopping and to my horror , the store was appearantly closed for lunch hour. This hand written on a piece of paper with a marker which read " Shop closed from 15h30 till 16h30 for Lunch" despite the fact that right on the side of the window , operating hourse for the store for Mon till friday is 09h00 am till 17h00.</p> <p>First of all, never in my life have I seen a clothing retail store that closes litterally for an hour for lunch. Dont they have machanism in place that when one employee leaves for lunch the other remains. They cant all be gone for lunch.</p> <p> </p> <p>My second concern is, if this is even withing the TFG internal policies. Are they even aware that the store in Zeerust is forfeighting thousands of Rands on revenue due to this carelessness. I mean if you have a board on the entrance of the store that says that its open from 09h00 till 17h00 then there is another one that condradicts itself as says its closed for an hour in between, thats a clear conflict of policy.</p> <p> </p> <p>I went ahead and asked passerby's and dissapointed shoppers like myself. There's a lady there who sells insurance policies just outside the stoor and all these people have confirmed that this was not just a once off thing and that this practice has been going on for some time. I made sure that this is not just a stock taking closure.</p> <p> </p> <p>I Just to know , is this even allowed and if TFG management is aware of this.</p>
