Appaulling experience at The Fix, Atlantis

On 09/03/17 at almost closing time I purchased a pair of shoes at The Fix, unknowingly I forgot my car key in the shop. I wentback to retrieve it but but the shop was already closed but the assistant and the manager was still in the shop. I asked the assistant Kim de Lange if I could look for my key. She then made as if she looked for it ( took her 2 seconds) while im standing outside watching her do nothing. She ied to me and said she could not find it. I leave thestore to go and find a security guard to help me. My mom then goes to the shop and asks Kim if she could come inside, which she then allows my mom in. Dont know what the difference is between us. Are the shop assistants not suppose to tidy up when they close the store? I knew very well my key was in that store. Meanwhile the mall closes at 7pm. I was stranded outside and could not leave my car overnight in this area and was forced to pay R650 to have my car towwed. I had to take the morning off from work yesterday, to go back to the store. Upon entry I immediately retrieved my key from where I knew it was the day before. This whole experience has costed me both time and money. Im outraged by this staff's behaviour!

Hi Madeleine

We’re so sorry to hear you had a bad experience in our store! This definitely isn’t what we want to hear, and we’ll be sure to address the issue to ensure this doesn’t happen again. We’ve passed your details on to the manager, who will get in touch with you directly.

Thanks,

The FIX team
