Fish & Chips Co in Fourways Will NEVER see me again...

I ordered from Fish & Chips Co in Fourways Mall and after roughly 20 min of standing and waiting I still have not received anything. Your staff just blatantly looks the other direction. The people who ordered after me have received and finished their meals already. About 5 people after me received their orders. I then walked up to the most rude person I have seen in my life and asked if there is a problem with our order. Her name is Dora. She tells me with no sense of emotion that they don’t have rolls and someone will deliver soon. I politely asked how long this will take? She does not know how long but it could be another 5 – 10 min. I asked her why nobody told us when we ordered rolls or had the common courtesy to tell us while we stand there and wait like fools. I pointed to the table that where busy getting up after they order after us. I asked why they where served but not us. She stared at me like I was in the wrong and said nothing further. I explained my 6 year old sitting at the table is extremely hungry and we really did not want to wait 20 min for this take away and now she expected us to wait even longer while our food gets cold.

I said I would prefer a refund for the rolls so we can at least start to eat. She then said no, I should just take a refund for the entire meal. She did not apologize for the inconvenience; she did not even speak to me further other than asking for her change back. She simply ignored me further and took money from the till and gave it back to me.

I told her that she must now realize that her indecorous engagements will result in this negative review; she continued to ignore me without saying a word. A simply sorry about this would have made this pill a lot easier to swallow but it’s too much to ask. I took the refund from her and went to the Burger King next door and now I will NEVER go back to this restaurant again.

Well done to the Dora and her buddy standing next to her for having ZERO communication skills. If she is the face of Fish & Chips Company, my money will be best spent at your neighbors. This was the first and last time we tried Fish & Chips Company in Fourways.
