Bad Service

I went for lunch with a friend on 17 June 2018, they were serving a buffet. The waiter escorted us to our table and I asked he gets us the menu , and he suggested we have a buffet, I told him we don't like a buffet we want to order from the menu. And he made not so nice remarks , firstly he told us the food is expensive better we get a buffet. And he started estimating how much the bill would cost us. And wanted to know our form of payment. But we felt so offended , how can a normal person go to a restaurant if they cannot afford to eat there? We drove all the way from Empangeni for someone to tell us we cannot afford our own lunch. We decided to leave because we felt unwelcome or looked down upon.
