Store manger at faro has given me the worse service I have ever gotten.I am so furious for the way he has treated me in front of other clients and I’ve been buying there ever since they opened and spend thousands of rands.I want this issue resolved and this guy needs to be disciplined because of the area they think they can treat u like they want too

Dear FARO Customer Service, I wish to lodge a formal complaint regarding the unacceptable customer service I experienced at your Cresta Mall branch, both on the day of my purchase and during a follow-up telephone call. On Saturday, I visited the store during what was clearly an exceptionally busy period. The fitting room queue was extremely long, the payment queue was even longer, and to make matters worse, the store's system was experiencing technical issues, causing significant delays for customers. After waiting patiently in the queue to pay, I was informed that my receipt would be emailed to me because of the system issues. I provided my email address, yet I never received the receipt. Today, I contacted the store because the jeans I purchased do not fit and I simply wanted to exchange them for another size. What followed was one of the worst customer service experiences I have encountered. From the moment the call was answered, I was met with rudeness, defensiveness, and a complete lack of willingness to assist. I was transferred from one staff member to another, with one employee stating she did not know what needed to happen, while another spent time checking for another size only to eventually tell me to wait for the manager as she can't help me. So why waste my time then? The entire process was disorganised and frustrating. When the store manager, Parks Moploumg, eventually took the call, his attitude was dismissive, confrontational, and intimidating. While I understand that the store may have a policy regarding sale items, there is a professional and respectful way to communicate that to customers. Instead, I was spoken to in a manner that was arrogant, hostile, and completely unacceptable. What disappointed me most is that no one initially took the time to verify whether my email address had been captured correctly before insisting that the receipt had already been sent. Had someone simply confirmed my details at the start of the call, much of this frustration could have been avoided. If FARO's policy is that sale items cannot be exchanged or returned, then customers should be informed clearly before completing their purchase—especially during busy periods when they may not have an opportunity to try items on properly. Customers should not only discover this after the fact. During the conversation, Mr Moploumg went as far as saying that a staff member clearly remembered me from Saturday and remembered informing me that there were "no returns or refunds." I found this comment completely unnecessary and offensive. It made me feel as though my honesty was being questioned and that I was being portrayed as dishonest simply because I was asking to exchange an item for the correct size. At no stage was I asking for a refund, free merchandise, or special treatment. I simply wanted to exchange a pair of jeans for another size. Ironically, after I ended the call and phoned back only to obtain the manager's name, I suddenly began receiving multiple calls from the store regarding my receipt. The manager himself called me back panicking, but still super rude and arrogant. If the store was so certain the receipt had been sent, why was there suddenly such urgency to contact me? This only reinforced my concern that my original query had not been handled properly. I would also like to ask: while it may be store policy not to exchange or refund sale items, is it also acceptable for customers to leave the store without a receipt? As a consumer, I believe I am entitled to proof of purchase. The reason this complaint has escalated is not because of your store's policy, but because of the shocking manner in which I was treated by both the staff and the store manager. Had I been treated with courtesy, respect, and professionalism, I would have accepted the explanation, even if I was disappointed by the outcome. Instead, I was left feeling bul****, disrespected, and completely undervalued as a customer. I have been a regular FARO customer, but after this experience I have no desire to shop with your brand again. It is disappointing that customers' loyalty and support appear to be valued only until there is an issue requiring assistance. I trust that this matter will be investigated thoroughly and that appropriate customer service and management training will be provided to the staff involved. No customer should be made to feel the way I did simply for requesting assistance with an exchange for another size.

I purchased clothing items from Faro Cresta Mall on the 20th of June at exactly 16:00 and have WhatsApp confirmation of the purchase from the store. I returned the next day with the valid receipt + WhatsApp message requesting a clean exchange for the exact same product. Staff refused outright of the 21st of June just after 16:30. They would not check CCTV/camera footage as proof, would not honour the receipt, and showed zero customer experience or accountability. This is unacceptable for a store selling branded items. I am now logging an official complaint with MIOSA for an accurate ruling on this matter. If Faro Cresta Mall refuses basic exchanges with proof of purchase + digital confirmation, it is *****ulent and misleading to customers. I expect management to contact me immediately to resolve this matter and they can expect a MIOSA Case

Appreciation for Outstanding Customer Service I would like to commend one of your cashiers Yonela from Faro Cape Gate for her exceptional kindness and support. When my car key became wet from a spilled drink, the cashier went above and beyond by carefully drying it and then walking with me to my car to ensure it was working properly. This thoughtful gesture not only solved my immediate problem but also showed genuine care and dedication to customer service. It made a stressful situation much easier, and I truly appreciate the effort and compassion shown. Please pass along my gratitude and recognition for Yonela’s outstanding assistance.

I bought shoes @ Faro Atterbury on the 25th September 2025 only to find that it's uncomfortable, I then took it back on Monday 29 September 2025 with the receipt which has the price and product code, to my surprise they are refusing to refund me because I do not have the price tag, because I threw it away not knowing that they want it as well, they are claiming that they explained to me that should I want to return it I should bring back that stupid price tag, I left both the shoes and the receipt in the store because I want my refund nothing else
