Money ****** from Purse in Hotel Room

Last week we were on a work conference for 3 days at this hotel. The first day we just arrived and left our bags in our rooms and had to rush back to the conference centre for a briefing and R200 was ****** out of my purse which was deep in my travel bag, the next day we were on conference another R200 was again ****** out of my purse which was deep in my travel bag in the cupboard. I only came to realise this on the second day as we were busy in conference until late at night from the time we arrived. When I confronted management they were very defensive and unhelpful and made excuses for the cleaner who is the only other person with a key for the room as they clean when we are out of the room. We spoke to the owner of the hotel the next morning who apologised and promised to have the R400 deposited into my account the same day which was Friday 23 October. He took my banking details but to this day I have still not received my money. I'm appalled at the manner in which this was handled and the fact that promises to sort this out was not kept. This is a popular establishment and the fact that they take their patrons complaints so lightly is very disturbing.
