Manhandled my 10yr old Golden Retriever

Several years ago I made use of The Dog Father when we moved to a new area. My experience was less than pleasant.

At the time I had 2 golden retrievers. The eldest was 10yrs old. When bathing her in the tub, I saw the man pulling her up by her tail to make her stand. No other method was used, no gently pushing under her belly, to which she was trained to stand up, but just directly to lifting her up by her tail. This is unacceptable. In a younger dog I might have overseen this, but an elderly dog can get severely injured if they are handled like that.

When sending me a 'reminder' requesting when we will be needing their services again, I explicitly said that I will not make use of their services again because of the way they handled my old dog. Despite this they continued to send me these 'reminder' messages and every time I said they must not contact me again. To the point where I threatened to put them on Hello Peter, which finally made an end to their messages.

This went well until I received another 'reminder' message from them today, from a different number than the one I had before.

I do not deem them to be fit to groom my dogs.
