More LIE Than Expo

Disappointment is an understatement. Had I read the reviews here, I would not have purchased tickets. They have had shocking reviews since 2015 and haven't done anything to improve. I bought tickets in April for July and since my 2yr old son is obsessed with dinosaurs, we were all excited. The event was then postponed because of permit issues. Fine. BUT trying to request new ticket dates or a refund was an absolute joke. They also 'accidentally' put the email address for the USA Dino Expo on their website. The woman rep**** to me and said she had told the SA show many times of their mistake. Nevertheless, I was sending my emails to all the email addresses and finally got a reply in August. Too late for the date I wanted to rebook for. We ended up going on 17 September. I was shocked at how bad it is. Their pictures LIE. There is nothing special to be seen inside, it is shoddily put together and everything is an extra charge at R30 a ticket! It is an utter waste of time and a *******! The 'snacks' available are popcorn, soft drinks and coffee. R20 for a tiny bag of popcorn. There is a poorly slapped together wooden ladder to a platform that has such huge gaps between the steps that my son nearly fell through, definitely a safety hazard. But you should be fine because the medic sits right there! They have toys for sale at literally double the price you could find the same toys for at Checkers or Crazy Store. Their service is pathetic, their staff is rude, they rip you off. After so much anticipation, it sucks.
