The Deckhouse Crab Shack and BBQ

A gem in Kloof Street which we were so excited to experience, we purchased a Wikideal "Couples Spa luxury and Shellfish platter" and went as a group of girls, we were 7 so another deal was bought on Hyperli. A booking was made for 16:30 on 12 Jan 2019 for 7 when we arrived the manager Faith welcomed us and asked for the vouchers we handed to her and she immediately said NO we not allowed to use a voucher in conjunction with another that it's against company policy? she couldn't explain further the consequences but that it was a RULE/POLICY we said ok that we would just share then as group and the Owner Alex charged us R50 plate fee because he said it's a sale lost after Faith tried to bully us to order from the Al la carte menu as it wasn't allowed 3 people to share a platter for two... WE felt very disappointed in the service and the way we were handled made us feel as if our Wikideal was not "Real" money spent, I don't think Alex should partake in the wikideals if he cannot accommodate diverse groups and rule number one should be to keep the customer happy and be more flexible towards the customers needs to ensure full satisfaction of this place. Sure we would of ordered many more Margherita jugs if his Arrogance didn't get in the way. I just feel it couldn't have done harm to make an exception to the fine print/technicality to ensure maximum profit!! the food though was top notch
