Turning our lives upside down!
I inquired about what services \The Debt Experts"offer to see if I could benifit from it. My wife was contacted for concent for then to look into our situation. My wife and I was informed (call was recorder by The Debt Experts) that nothing was final untill we sign the contract. The contract was emailed to us for approval and signatures. Lots of information was incorrect and we decided that we would not be able to benifit from it. I was contacted by them and after explaining why we decline the phone was dropped in my ear. Very unprofessional. 25 February they tried to deduct the payment off my bank account. Luckilly I had the common sense to change banks. Today I found out that I was listed as being \""under dept review\"" and was informed by my bank that I will lose my cheque account due to their neglegence. I have to show proof to my bank tomorrow that it was incorrect. Now I have to once again phone the debt experts to find out what the hell is going on. They have no right to deduct our account or list us at the Bureau a without signing and excepting the contract. AGAINST THE LAW!!"""
Good Day Mr. & Mrs. Saddington
We thank you for the opportunity to respond to your complaint and we apologize for the experience you feel have had with our company.
However, I have listened to all the recorded calls and our agent did recommend that you need to open a savings account to avoid the problem that you encountered. A cheque/current account with an overdraft facility is an open line of credit and once you are determined to be over-indebted, the bank have to withdraw this line of credit as making it available will constitute reckless lending on their part. In the calls, our agent also made you aware of the fact that your accounts might be frozen once the process gets underway.
Premission was also given by yourselves for us to process your application. Our offices will be in contact with you shortly to discuss the way forward.
Kind Regards
The debt Experts
