Illigal placemmnt

5 to 6 years ago I received a call in the evening from this company and they offered their service to help me reduce my debt which I didn't have when they called me and I specifically told them I do not want to be under administration. however a few days later I had application forms sent to me which I didn't sign or open, I right away called them within 7 days to cancel and I was advised that the cancellation request has been submitted and it will take 20 days for everything to be sorted and I left it at that trusting that they will do as promised. to my surprise a few months down the line I receive a text message from them, I then called them to find out what was happening as I cancelled well in time for a service I never request, on the phone I was told that the person who was dealing with my case no longer works for the company and they never put through the cancellation. the lady I spoke to was very sympathetic and took responsibility and said I need to fax her another request to cancel and I did, now since that moment this company has been giving me the run around and blatantly refused to cancel and sort this out as now it has majorly impacted me and my ability acquire credit. I have been in communication with them and I also have an email from them admitting to their fault however I am yet to receive a resolution from them. to my surprise one of the emails I received last year and early this year is from the very same person I was told no longer works for the company.
