Mourners left hungry
<p>The Culinary Workshop were hired to cater for my mother's memorial service on 15 April. They insisted on payment upfront - which they received. (180 pax - food & drinks R34 000,00)</p> <p>They were told that set-up time was 08:00. They arrived after 9am - with no food, only soft drinks.Several people tried to get hold of Graham (the owner). Many excuses later - the food arrived - unassembled - at 12:00. The desserts did not arrive at all.</p> <p>The service had finished at 11:00... not only were mourners left hungry - but the bereaved family had to assemble the eats that did arrive.</p> <p>To date, I have yet to receive responses to my mails, calls, mesages on facebook or even just a refund. </p> <p>This is a pity as their food is great, their staff are fabulous and I have ued them professionally previously.</p>
