Upgrade - 4 years of customer data simply deleted

For those who have been an existing client of the aforementioned courier company will be fully aware that they did a so-called "upgrade" to their booking system. When they went back live I found that 4 years of my existing contact data was missing. Upon questioning it I was simply told - it's empty cause they didn't bother to transfer it or port it-you are simply instructed to start from scratch There was absolutely no warning to the client that contact details were not going to be ported to the new system

My comment link to my grievance was immediately removed by their admin from their page

I'm getting the feeling that management is not willing to spend decent money and opted for a very downgraded cheap system not good enough to do what a professional IT system is suppose to do. ANY server has a backup and information NEVER simply lost

Any new customer: be warned- you are only there to serve The Courier Guy to earn their money- your own business is not in their best interest
