Unsatisfactory service!!

I booked an oven in its original box for collection via their online platform. I gave them the dimensions and weight as stated on the box. Bare in mind that I had taken the hob , which was include in the weight, out of the box. Upon collection, only one person arrived to pick up the box though I had stated that it was 40kg heavy and they did not even have a trolley to carry the parcel to their vehicle. I was told that the customer should organise help only after the event, which i do not agree with as it might not always be possible.

On the following day I receive an email stating that the box was not the same dimensions I had given and are written on the box and I must pay them extra or they hold on to the parcel. My question is , why the dimensions were not verified at collection and am puzzled that the decreased weight of the parcel was not even considered. It is now my word against theirs with regards to the true dimensions of the box. This definitely does not build trust towards a business!!!
