Unreliable service

Having waited the whole day for a parcel to be delivered I just got a message saying delivery failure. After struggling to get through on the phone and being shuffled from one person to another, they told me the address was incomplete! When I asked why no-one had bothered to call me to confirm the address, they told me the driver should have contacted the depot to ask them to call me - no they just went home and took my parcel back to the depot!! I suppose if I had not called them to correct the address info they would have simply repeated this for the next few days! Please ensure your drivers have the wherewithal to at least check addresses and call clients if they are struggling with deliveries - surely this will save you costs??
