Unreliable service

I had notification that the parcel would be delivered on the 8th Jan before 5 pm - waited all day and the guy never came. I then had another notification to say the parcel would arrive on the 9th before 5 PM .He arrived and i asked him what happened - he said the other guy was swamped and couldn't make it , the company would have known this and i should have been advised .its unrealistic to send a message the day before a parcel arrives ,it gives me no time to change my plans ,The courier was a very polite nice guy
