Unfair treatment from the courier guys

I bought clothes to Kk wholesalers who happened to use courier guys for deliveries and the parcel got lost and after weeks of calling Courier guys today I'm told that they won't refund me bethel don't deal with me as a recipient they only deal with the sender and they eill refund the sender which didn't pay for the clothes. This makes me to question my role as a recipient in their value chain .
