Unaccountable business: The Courier Guy

The Courier Guy is the most misaligned business i have ever encountered and have no remorse. September 04 2026 I went to BP Garage in KwaMashu P on Malandela I'd to pick up my parcel. Locker details were LL-FOGCXZ the locker didn't open. I called their contact center. I was asked for my home address which is 2 minutes walk from the locker and was told a driver will call me to deliver my parcel. I gave them till Monday 7 September 2026 no communication from them.

Until the sender told me she was called and told my parcel was taken to KwaMashu Police Station for what reason I don't know. At the same time some rude person was telling me on whatsapp to choose a Kiosk they can drop my parcel off to collect. Or to have it deposited back in a locker i had to pay again for their locker's fault. Which wasn't part of the agreement so I called the contact center again. Confirmed my home address was on the system for the parcel to be dropped off to my door. So, I asked why the sender was told something else while I am being rudely awaken on WhatsApp about choosing a kiosk to collect my parcel. All the kiosks require an uber to and from my house. I requested a manager who rudely never answered why my address is on their system if having my parcel dropped off to my house was never an option? He was condescending and never answered my question but persisted on me choosing a kiosk that I can collect from when I get the time. I selected the Umhlanga branch now I have an Avi that is WhatsApp calling and messaging me about I have certain hours left before my parcel is taken to JHB head quarters which again wasn't part of the agreement I was told they will keep it till I can collect it.

As a young black woman that was planning to start a business I wasn't expecting a prominent business I have supported for years to set me up for failer before I even started. The parcel was R500 including courier fees. My business leader loaned me 4 products to repay her when my parcel arrived which hasn't now I owe her R400. All because your stupid locker didn't open and your company won't stand on its word and deliver my parcel at my door. Use The Courier Guy locker at your own risk.
