UN-INFORMED AND HIGHTLY DISAPPOINTED

We have been loyal and good supporting clients of The Courier Guy of a long time. When joining The Courier Guy, we were never informed that we have an option of choosing if we want insurance added to a parcel of not. And because this person who knew what we are selling and that the goods are not cheap, I'd think it would've been relevant to tell us that. Continuing booking parcel for months on a daily basis with The Courier Guy we never knew even an insurance option existed. When on the 12 Jan 2021, 1 of the vehicles got hi-jacked with 1 of our parcels inside, just to learn that we didn't have insurance on it and that we can only get R1000 back for a parcel worth R 26000. After explaining myself and matter and all to them, and asking sincerely that they please consider even if its just half the amount we lost, they totally ignored out request. I mean, you'd think after supporting them for so long and not being informed correctly they will just be considerate in some way as our parcels were in their hands, in their vehicles. (if I'd known about the insurance option with parcels I'd definitely have been making use of it with most of our parcels). This just tells you that you are yet just another number to them and they don't value their clients of importance.
