Tragic downfall of a once great company.

I've finally lost my patience with this company. I've been loosing money and had items destroyed. I'm not even sure where to begin. I used to have great service when the company was smaller. Payments reflected immediately, queries were answered within hours and I never wanted to use anybody else. For the last almost two years however the wheels have slowly been coming off. I first noticed that some of the shipments have deducted more from my account than the quote had said they would. After querying that I was told the weights have been wrong. So I invested in a brand new ultra sensitive scale. Strangely enough it's readings were exactly the same as the old one. Then I noticed the volumetric readings were going up and decided to do a test. I took three guitars to a branch and measured them exactly to the mm. I got quotes online and then got the quotes in store and they were higher. I noticed in every direction the staff member added between 2 and 3cm. He also added 500g to the weight of each instrument. After asking why I was told that once it gets sent to the hubs it gets measured by machine. If the machine measures less then it doesn't mind the fact that it's overcharging. If it measures more the branch gets into trouble. Keep in mind this "machine" isn't accurate at all so they always overmeasure. So I started adding 1cm on all of my dimensions and rounding up the weight to the next half a kg and this worked until the end of last year when I noticed the charges crept beyond the quote and were automatically deducted from account. I helped a friend ship a PC box and the dimensions almost doubled to the size of a small fridge. During this time I also sent a friend's coffee machine down which got absolutely obliterated. Despite having a steel chassis with steel switches and being bubble wrapped and boxed, the switches were broken off into the machine and it looked like it had been panelbeaten with a mallet. I paid for a brand new machine for my friend. I was told there was nothing they could do because I didn't take insurance out but also keep in mind they don't insure secondhand items. I know a few people who pay extra to insure their instruments when shipping them and Courier Guy takes the premium without question even though they will refuse to pay out because they are used items. I think it's terrible that the coffee machine had clearly not just been dropped once and was clearly not some accident but had evidently been thrown, crushed, dropped and completely mishandled. Since then I've been using other service providers as far as possible despite the fact that they charge more. Firstly knowing the exact charge allows me to charge my customers correctly. If I charge my client R200 on shipping and it creeps up R30 almost every time it costs me money. Secondly not knowing if the item will get there safely anymore has completely erroded my faith in using them for even personal shipping. The website is also borderline non functional. If you do a quote and your funds are insufficient you can't just save the quote and go and top up. You need to cancel it and top up then start again. For months now the EFT now and Ozow portals on this website don't take either my ABSA or FNB details despite the fact those services work elsewhere for other purchases. So you have to do an EFT which is manually processed when they feel like. Sometimes taking a full business week. If you phone it takes 7 calls to get through only to be put through to another department that never answers. Then you're told to just email which never provides any relief or answers. If I need to get work out today I don't want to wait forever for a response on my payment to be able to make a booking. When I told the lady on the line I would be changing service providers I simply got an "okay goodbye". 5 years of which not a single hiccup the first 3 to a business that is loosing me money to try and do business with now. What happened two years ago and why are you so happy to let customers just leave? Surely it's a sign of your business beginning to decline. Either way after loosing out on over 3k in hidden charges and a coffee machine not to mention time and airtime trying to get anything of value out of you I'm done. There's no value left anymore in your name to me.
