The Courier Guy no show

I received 2 messages this morning to say that my parcels are out for delivery. I was at home the whole day yet no delivery of parcels. When tracking the parcels now the status shows that the parcels should be collected from depot because they state that the delivery could not be executed. Absolute and outright lie. Nobody contacted me telephonically nor were there anyone at my door to deliver. Shocking service.
