The Courier Guy lost my package

Their vehicle was involved in hijacking on the 20th of June 2024 and unfortunately my package was in that vehicle.

They didn't even inform me, I had to phone them myself. Anyway to cut the story short. They sent me an email with a link to file a claim, I did that and when I call them again to check if they received my claim forms and supporting documents, they sent me an email with another forms (same forms as the one's I filled in on the link they sent me) telling me to fill in the forms and email them to claims department , I did that. And I called again to check if they received the forms, and I was told to go to Khayelitsha Kiosk when I arrived there I was given the same forms to fill in, and they asked me to go to police station to do an affidavit, I didn't understand why had to write an affidavit as if I'm the one who lost the package or involved in hijacking but I did and submitted the forms with all the documents they wanted.

When I contacted the kiosk manager in Khayelitsha, she told me that she forwarded my documents to the regional manager and she's been waiting for his/her response but nothing, and then she forwarded my forms to someone else. It's like no one's willing to help me. It's been two months already but there's nothing tangible.

I've been doing the up and down but still nothing, this is the second month now and I still haven't received my money. They don't have communication, I have to be the one who call them, sending whatsapp messages and emails. Their customer service is beyond poor.

I lost money, clients and time because of this. I had to refund my customers with my own money. I'm so disappointed with The Courier Guy services.

They didn't even give me a case number, and now I'm asking myself if there was really a hijacking.
