the courier guy false advertising and ****************

The courier Guys never fails to disappoint when it comes to there inconsistency in pricing and there lack of customer service. their drivers are exceptional but this is far overshadowed by the terrible service received by admin staff and false advertising. they put up posters saying that they charge R100 for parcels up to 15kg's but when my 13kg parcel arrives they charge almost R500. when you try to complain and get it corrected they tell you they use volumetric weight which is nowhere to be seen on there posters and pricing up on the wall. further enquiry as to how motorbike tyres that weigh more than 15kg were chrged for at R150 you get told to take it up with head office. what kind of a response is that. head office doesnt have a contact number on the website and i am left to pay money i didnt budget for with admin staff and area manager saying if i have not collected in 2 days they will sell my parcel to recover costs. this is a violation of the consumer protection act you cannot advertise a price and charge something else and you cannot force a customer to pay what was not contracted for.
