The Courier Guy driver stole my package
On Tuesday 28th February I booked a collection on The Courier Guy website. I kept tracking my delivery on The Courier Guy website and the parcel was not collected (it showed COLLECTION ASSIGNED and COLLECTION FAILED ATTEMPT). I followed with The Courier Guy telephonically and via e-mail. I was informed that their driver could not collect. I then contacted Bumper to Bumper who confirmed that the parcel HAD been collected on Friday 3rd March. Bumper to Bumper provided proof of collection as well as the name of the driver (Donald) who had collected.
I forwarded the proof of collection to The Courier Guy on 3/03. The customer service representative (Joshua) insisted that his system showed that the parcel had not been collected and escalated it to his manager. Portia (The Parcel Guy customer service manager) refused to make contact with the accounts department at Bumper to Bumper and insisted that my parcel had not been collected. Despite evidence that the parcel had been collected, she refused to assist. Bumper to Bumper has investigated and confirmed that stock (my parcel) is no longer on their premises and was removed by The Courier Guy driver.
It is therefore clear that The Courier Guy staff and drivers are colluding to ***** customers parcels. Despite more than 10 emails over the last 10 days pleading for assistance, the representatives refuse to assist in any meaningful way. I now have no choice but to open a case at the SAPS.
