The Courier guy cannot handle your packages with care

I am very unhappy with the service I have received. It is my first time using The Courier Guy and at first I was impressed especially with the online tracking system. However I have encountered the following problems:

• After calling in yesterday to let the driver know I will not be at my delivery address after 4pm he advised me that he will be here before 3.30pm, at 4pm I received a WhatsApp from the driver to say “AM GOING TO DELIVER” I called him and asked him where he is, he then asked me to drive and meet him at 14th Avenue which is approximately 59km (45min) away from my delivery address. This completely defeats the purpose of door to door courier.

• My package was delivered this morning, it was handed to the first person the driver saw (This was not me) no request for identification. The person that accepted my package asked if the person the package is addressed to needs to sign and the driver said No anyone can sign.

• My package was terribly mishandled and damaged you can clearly see a foot print on the box, and this has now damaged my items inside the package.

I run an online business and courier is a large part of it, however I cannot risk my packages and products being delivered to my clients in this condition.
