TCGR208068- PACKAGE NOT DELIVERED-EMPLOYEE INCOMPETENCE

My package was delivered using the courier guy my tracking number is TCGR208068 I instructed them to deliver my package on 02/01/2024 and received confirmation in writing from Mitch Mitchell (Regional and JHB South -Operations) on 18/12/2023 that my delivery has been rescheduled to be delivered on 02/01/2024. Today (19/12/2023) I received a notification proof if delivery that my order was delivered to someone. The delivery driver didn’t record their contact information and I do not know anyone with the captured name RASNEEM.

This is unacceptable I provided them with an instruction which was confirmed in writing but they chose to ignore that and deliver my package to a random stranger. The courier guy needs to provide me with feedback and investigate who my package was delivered to, also they should provide training/ written warning to Mitch Mitchell who confirmed in writing that my instruction was understood. And the actual Delivery driver should receive a written warning and possible disciplinary hearing as they clearly ignored company policy by ignoring a control which is put in place to prevent deliveries from being delivered to the incorrect person.
